What is the cinergi fund grant?
Cinergi Fund is awarding five $1,000 grants to support hands-on learning experiences for girls in grades K–8. These grants are designed to help bring meaningful, engaging programs to students while supporting the partners who deliver them.
Who can apply?
Schools and organizations or businesses (for-profit or nonprofit) may apply. All applicants must apply in partnership. This could be a school with an organization/vendor, or an organization/vendor with a school.
Do I need a partner to apply?
Yes. All applications must include a confirmed partner. Schools must apply with an organization/vendor, and organizations/vendors must apply with a school where the program will take place.
What type of programs are eligible?
Programs must provide hands-on experiences for girls in grades K–8. This can include areas such as STEM, arts, sports, culinary arts, sewing, woodworking, life skills, or similar experiences that build confidence, creativity, or community.
Where must the program take place?
Programs must be implemented at a Title I school in New York City or New Castle County, Delaware.
How much funding is available?
Five grants of $1,000 each will be awarded.
How can the funds be used?
Funds should be used to support the delivery of the proposed program, such as materials, supplies, or facilitator costs. Funds must be used as described in the application.
When does the application open and close?
Applications open May 6 and close May 31.
How do I apply?
Applications must be submitted through the online application form available on our website.
What information will I need to apply?
You will be asked to share basic information about your organization or school, describe your program, explain how the funds will be used, and provide details about your partner and implementation plan.
Can I apply without a confirmed program plan?
No. Applicants should have a clear, ready-to-implement program plan and a confirmed partner at the time of submission.
Can I submit more than one application?
No. Each school or organization may submit one application per grant cycle.
How are applications reviewed?
Applications are reviewed based on alignment to the grant’s purpose, clarity and feasibility of the program, potential impact for students, and strength of the partnership.
Are women-led organizations required?
No. We welcome all eligible applicants and strongly encourage applications from women-led organizations.
When will grantees be notified?
All applicants will be notified by June 15.
What happens if I am selected?
Selected applicants will be asked to complete a short agreement and submit required documents before funds are distributed.
What documents are required if selected?
Grantees will need to submit a signed agreement, a W-9 form, and payment information.
When will funds be distributed?
Funds will be distributed within approximately two weeks after all required paperwork is received.
Are there reporting requirements?
Yes. Grantees will be asked to share a brief update, along with photos or a testimonial, after the program is completed.
